Advanced 100 Hour Embodied Flow™ Module: Expression | UBUD, BALI

  • Ananda Cottages Ubud Bali (map)

Module #3: Expression (The Art of Teaching)

100 Hour Advanced Level Embodied Flow™ Training

Prerequisite: A previous 200-hour RYT Teacher Training. Embodied Flow™ Foundations is highly recommended.

Theming, Composing, and Directing the Authentic Expression

“Through spontaneity we are re-formed into ourselves. It creates an explosion that for the moment frees us from handed-down frames of reference, memory choked with old facts and information and undigested theories and techniques of other people’s findings. Spontaneity is the moment of personal freedom when we are faced with a reality and see it, explore it and act accordingly. In this reality the bits and pieces of ourselves function as an organic whole. It is the time of discovery, of experiencing, of creative expression.”

― Viola Spolin

This 100-hour “Expression” Module is designed to enhance your individual authentic expression, confidence and communication skills as a facilitator. We will explore strategies and tools for teaching Embodied Flow™ in a skillful and artful way. Through expression, you will expand and refine your art of composing and guiding a depthful experience, take the seat of the teacher, and learn to attune your instrument to see, hear and respond to the subtle energetic, physical and psychic layers of what is transcending in your classroom.

In this advanced art of teaching laboratory, you will learn to lay the foundation, carve the path and offer touchstones that guide attention and sensation while masterfully inviting your students to step into the slipstream of being.

For over 27 years, Tara Judelle has experimented with all forms of movement flow, from dance to Tai Chi, to movement improvisation and ultimately yoga. An English degree from Barnard College, post-graduate studies in theatre directing and a foray into film writing and directing brought her finally to the study of yoga and meditation. Certified in the Anusara™ method, Tara has taught yoga extensively, both nationally and internationally, for 15 years. She has been inspired by the Body Mind Centering® works of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and has studied and taught with Carlos Pomeda and Sally Kempton.

For the last 7 years she has been a featured teacher as part of the yogaglo.com team, allowing the yoga conversation to stream around the globe.

In 2010 Tara moved from her home base in Los Angeles to direct a yoga program and retreat center in Bali, Indonesia. Since the close of 2011, she has had no fixed base, leading to her current schedule facilitating workshops, retreats and teacher trainings worldwide.

Tara Judelle’s classes focus on the discovery of embodied anatomy, bringing to the yogic tradition a scientific yet playful study of the movement vocabulary of the body and the ever-expanding perceptual awareness of the human mind. In 2014 Tara co-created the School of Embodied Flow™ with Dr. Scott Lyons to bring her current passions together into a modern movement of Yoga.
